Alex is a licensed managing broker and oversees TriVan’s strategic partner CGI Realty Advisors. In this role, he manages a national portfolio of industrial, retail and office assets. His expertise is identifying & acquiring undervalued commercial real estate assets and maximizing value through active repositioning and hands-on management.
Michael Berkson
Managing Director & Co-Founder
Michael has 17 years’ experience as an investor and lender in real estate projects totalling more than $1 billion and was previously a partner in a Canadian private equity firm with assets under management of more than $600 million. He brings experience in raising high net worth and institutional capital, compliance and reporting requirements, complex financing, and corporate governance.
Matthew Ross, CPA, CA
Managing Director & Co-Founder
Prior to TriVan Matthew spent 14 years as a senior executive with the SHAPE group of companies where he oversaw a commercial real estate portfolio of 4.5 million sf worth in excess of $2 billion. He has extensive experience in asset and property management, leasing, financing, repositioning and development of commercial properties. Matthew previously worked with SmartCentres REIT and articled at Deloitte LLP.

Alex Cristall oversees this team ensuring that TriVan benefits from its active, hands-on approach and established relationships. The current portfolio under management is approximately 2 million square feet.
